Yashnobod Innovation Technopark Reaches 63 Resident Companies. Target Performance Indicators for Yashnobod Innovation Technopark Residents Announced

The Directorate of Yashnobod Innovation Technopark has announced the target performance indicators of the technopark’s resident companies. According to the document, the number of business entities holding resident status at the technopark has reached 63.

Resident status was granted gradually between June 2024 and April 2026. Most projects are designed for a three-year implementation period, with their operational timelines extending from 2027 to 2029.

According to the residents’ target indicators, the projects are expected to create more than 2,200 new jobs. The total planned volume of production and services is projected to exceed UZS 1 trillion (approximately UZS 1.09 trillion). In addition, nine resident companies aim to enter international markets, with total exports expected to surpass UZS 82 billion.

The technopark’s residents operate across a wide range of sectors, including chemicals, metallurgy, polymer materials, packaging, healthcare, energy, agriculture, and digital technologies. Their projects include the production of import-substituting chemical reagents, polymer composite materials and printing inks, environmentally friendly packaging products, innovative fire-extinguishing systems, medical implants and equipment, smart water and gas meters, electric vehicle charging stations, advanced transformers, and thermal energy solutions.

A significant portion of these products was previously imported. By localizing production, resident companies are helping to reduce foreign currency expenditures while meeting domestic market demand. Several residents—including manufacturers of polymer pigment materials, printing inks, polyurethane systems, and polypropylene bags—also plan to significantly increase their export capacity in the coming years.

The Yashnobod Innovation Technopark’s residency system provides favorable conditions for introducing innovative ideas into industrial-scale production by offering local manufacturers tax and customs incentives, infrastructure support, and scientific and technical assistance.
